We put durability on top of our shelf
Wood being the only renewable and natural building material, it deserves a conscious exploitation strategy. Hence our daily efforts to offer sustainable wood products, proof of which our FSC- and PEFC-certificates.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international non-profit organisation founded 1993 by forest owners, wood and paper companies, social movements and environmental organisations.
FSC strives towards a sustainable forest management worldwide, according strict social, ecologic and economic criteria.
This system allows consumers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products produced from well-managed forests and/or recycled materials.

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) is a worldwide forest certification system which provides assurance that forests are managed sustainably. In concrete terms, PEFC promotes a forest management which is respectful of the environment, socially beneficial and economically viable. The PEFC label found on a paper or timber products gives consumers the assurance that the wood used in those products originates in sustainably managed forests.
The fundamental principles of the PEFC system are dialogue, consensus-based decision-making, transparency and continuous improvement through regular reviews of the system.
Today, PEFC is the world’s largest forest and wood-product certification system.
