Van Hoorebeke brings wood from all corners of the world to the heart of Europe, accounting for approximately 25% of the sawn wood imports in Belgium.

Softwood: is sourced from North America and Scandinavian countries.

Hardwood: is imported from Southeast Asia, Brazil, and Africa.

This raw wood, along with other wood products (semi-finished and complex products combining wood in various forms), is distributed to the Belgian and European markets, serving professional users, timber traders, and the wood industry.

With 120,000 m² of storage space, a 6,000 m² planing mill, and a dipping installation, all located at the Kluizendok in the port of Ghent, we have centralized all our products and services to meet the most diverse demands. All of this is done with the necessary quality control, ensuring you receive a perfect final product.
